Help Manage
Team Management brings everything you need to run your team together in one place. Once a team is created or published from Draft Management, coaches, managers, parents, and other authorized adults can use Team Management to stay organized and connected throughout the season.
Instead of using separate apps for rosters, group messages, email, calendars, attendance, and team information, Draft It All keeps those tools connected to the same team. Your organization, division, team, players, coaches, contacts, events, and communications stay together so you do not have to recreate the same information in multiple places.
Team Management is designed to be simple enough for parents and coaches to use without training, while still giving commissioners and managers the controls they need to manage their teams. Access is based on each user's team and role, so people see the information and tools that apply to them.
Right now, Draft It All is completely free to use. We are still improving Team Management, testing features, and learning from the people using it. We would appreciate your feedback. Please visit the Contact Us page to share your thoughts, comments, or suggestions.
What Can You Do in Team Management?
Home
The Home screen gives you a quick look at your team and upcoming events. If you are connected to more than one team or player, you can switch between them using the DIVISION - TEAM (PLAYER NAME) selector at the top of the screen.
Events belonging to the team you are currently viewing use their normal event colors. Events from another team are shown in grey. Selecting GO TO EVENT on one of those events will take you directly to the correct team and event.
Roster
View the players and coaches assigned to the team. Authorized managers and commissioners can add players, add coaches, manage player contacts, and update permitted roster information without changing the original completed draft.
Player contacts may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and relationships. Adult contact information is protected by privacy settings and is not automatically displayed to the rest of the team.
Chat
Team Chat gives authorized adult team members a private place to communicate. You can send messages, react to messages, star important messages, search conversations, and share permitted photos.
Chat also includes reporting, blocking, and manager moderation tools to help keep team communication appropriate and organized.
Team Email lets authorized users communicate with team members without having to maintain a separate mailing list. Recipient selections are based on the people already connected to the team.
Email addresses that are hidden from the team directory can still be used for authorized email delivery without revealing the address to other users.
Calendar
Create and manage practices, games, and other team events. Events can include dates, start and end times, arrival times, locations, addresses, descriptions, jersey information, reminders, attendance tracking, and availability deadlines.
Events may also be created as recurring events. When editing a recurring event, managers can choose whether to change only that event, that event and future occurrences, or all related occurrences.
Attendance and Availability
Players, parents, coaches, and authorized managers can track attendance and availability for upcoming events. The Event Tracking table provides a team-wide view of responses across upcoming events so managers can quickly see who is attending, not attending, maybe attending, or has not responded.
Locations
Frequently used gyms, fields, schools, and other facilities can be saved so they can be reused when creating future events. Addresses can also be opened in mapping services for directions.
Account and Privacy
Your Account area controls your personal Team Management settings. You can manage notification preferences and, where available, your contact information.
Your login email address is not automatically shown to other team members. Adult users separately choose whether their email address or phone number may be displayed to the team. These choices are controlled by the individual adult and include a waiting period before the information becomes visible.
Multiple Teams and Players
One Draft It All account can be connected to multiple teams and multiple players. This is especially useful for parents with children on different teams or in different divisions.
The team selector identifies each connection using:
DIVISION - TEAM (PLAYER NAME)
This makes it easier to move between schedules, rosters, messages, and other information for each child or team.
Invitations and Access
When Team Management is published, authorized email addresses can be connected to the team without immediately sending invitation emails. Commissioners can send invitations later from Team Management Home when they are ready.
An adult whose verified email address is already connected to a team can receive the appropriate access after completing the required account activation steps.
Draft Management and Team Management Work Together
Draft Management and Team Management are connected, but they serve different purposes. Draft Management handles the process of building the teams. Team Management handles what happens after the teams are formed.
Publishing a team creates an operational Team Management workspace while preserving the completed draft as a historical record. Changes made later in Team Management do not rewrite the completed draft.
The goal is simple: start with your player information, complete your draft, publish your teams, and continue managing the season without having to start over in another app.
